Centre for Aromatherapy Research and Development (ICARD) is a
non-profit making society constituted on 27 September, 2007 under the
Indian Societies Registration Act 1860 by the scientists, professionals
and entrepreneurs.
Aromatherapy is
growing very fast leaving behind a million dollar question, if it really
works? As being claimed by millions of speedily growing web sites,
aromatherapists and aromatherapy products all over the
world. The ICARD, a R&D Society has been set up by an internationally
renowned group of scientists and professionals in the field of essential
oils, perfumery and aromatherapy to put the aromatherapy on the
touchstone of science and explore the new world of real scientific
aromatherapy for welfare of mankind. Today’s different varieties of
Fragrance and flavors products are available which are
prepared by modern technologies. We have been making water soluble and
oil soluble fragrances and flavors. |

International Centre for Aromatherapy
Research and Development (ICARD) research and
development wing are continuously engaged in research on
products formulations and aromatherapy practices. Increasing
the cultivation area and production of pure organic essential
oils for aromatherapy use is one of our key task. Screening
of aromatic & medicinal plants for bio-activity is yet
another activity taken by our Society. We also conduct
clinical trials on essential oils and
aromatherapy product. We are also engaged in
generation, collection, compilation and documentation of
research data on all aspects of aromatherapy. |

ICARD College of
Perfumery and Aromatherapy is the first and only Institute in
India that offers courses and workshops on Aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy is an
alternative therapy in which herbal medicine and aromatherapy
essential oils are used. Now there are varieties of aromatherapy
products are available which are used for aromatherapy beauty
care and total health care. Fragrance and flavors products
are used in a different way in aromatherapy. Aromatherapy essential
oils are used in aromatherapy massage skin care. Aromatherapy
is also used in Ayurveda in which various herbal products are
used for health care. In aromatherapy training we provide
professional training to students for their success in professional
life.
